Although there are tons of tips and tricks on how to "kill" mold, scientifically, it is not the correct way to deal with mold in a home. Wiping mold may look like it has been properly treated but the spore count can still be fairly high and can grow back without removing the source. There's nothing safer for the treatment of mold than to just remove the source and thoroughly clean.
