Refrigerator Leak

This water loss was caused by a leaking supply line from the refrigerator which affected four rooms and the basement below. The leak damaged sub floor, drywall, insulation, trim and the laminate flooring as well as the vinyl flooring in the bathroom. Laminate and vinyl flooring were removed along with the trim. The drywall was dried in place using multiple air movers and de-humidifiers per. SERVPRO of Austin & Albert Lea dried the structure and provided all necessary repairs. This includes reinstalling the trim, replacing both vinyl and laminate flooring. Knowing where the main water shut off is will help prevent larger water losses from occurring.
