Sewage backup in Delavan, MN

The picture on the left hand side depicts sewage and water that came in through the basement drain of a residential home in Delavan, MN, caused by strong wind knocking down a tree and breaking a pipe. Sewage backups can occur when a pipe break which results in a surge of water-saturated sewage. When we arrived at the house our customer was very upset and couldn't believe this had happened to his house.  By the time we left, our customer couldn't even tell there had been any sewage in his basement.  He was surprised how fast we extracted the sewage and couldn't believe what a great job SERVPRO of Austin & Albert Lea has done.
