Heavy rain fall causing basement to flood

The amount of rain that fell in this Austin & Albert Lea area was something we don't see often. 9 inches of rain fell in a short 30-minute time span. When rain falls at that fast rate the ground is unable to absorb it causing water to find other places to go. in this resident building water broke through a steel door letting in rainwater, mud, and debris from outside. Unfortunately, with the amount of rain falling this building had 6 feet of rain inside. SERVPRO of Austin & Albert Lea was able to help them by cleaning out the mud and debris that was washed in. Our team also took out all the damaged material caused by this flood.
